サウンドプロデューサー／DJ／アートディレクター／グラフィック・デザイナーと様々な顔を持つ京都在住の日本人マルチ・アーティスト。様々なアーティストとのコラボレーションを展開している。最新作は自身のレーベルDescansoから発表したPortable、Matt John、San Proper、Dandy Jack、Los Updates、Chris Carrier等11ヶ国もの国からさまざまなアーティストが参加した東日本大震災復興支援チャリティーコンピレー ション「Vibes against Vibes vol.1 & 2」、Nice Cat RecordsよりリリースされたRicardo Villalobos, Los Updates - I Throw Water Into The Lake / Miss You Soと2つのremixを手掛けた。

He made his musical debut in 2004 by providing music to an American documentary film called “MOOG”.
One of the most recent and notable works is the benefit compilation album “Vibes against Vibes vol.1 & 2″ released from his own label Descanso, and a wide variety of artists from 11 countries have joined this project to raise donation and support for the Great East Japan
Earthquake relief efforts.
His collaborative work series “in the collaborations” has now marked its 5th release, and this commemorate 5th collaborator-artist is Los Updates.
Also he recently worked on the remix works of “Ricardo Villalobos, Los Updates – I Throw Water Into The Lake / Miss You So” released from Nice Cat Records.
His art design and sound direction for a Playstation 3 title “PixelJunk™ Eden” in 2008 has received international attention and acclaim from gaming audiences for its unique view. Soon after he has participated in production of LittleBigPlanet2, and was selected as one of 50 of the important game industry people to the current state of the game industry in the “Game Developer” magazine.
Also he has been actively delivering lectures at home and overseas and in 2012 he joined Global Game Jam held in 243 spots of 46 countries as the keynote speaker along with Will Wright.
In June, 2012, ”PixelJunk™ 4am” for PlayStation®Move was released, and Baiyon’s name can be seen in its credit title for art / sound direction and the concept.
His unique view of the world reflected in the crossover between visual design and music creation has been highly acclaimed around the world.
