前衛芸術家”草間彌生”の姪孫であるLoeは、長野県松本市に生まれ2005年関西にてテクノDJとしての活動を開始。REEKO(Polegroup/mentaldisorder)の初来日大阪単独ギグの際にDOMMUNEに出演したことをきっかけに活動の場所を全国へと拡げ、今や関西を代表するテクノDJの1人である。2017年からTAKAAKI ITOHのレーベル名を冠としたテクノパーティー「WOLS」にレジデントDJとして関わった後、シーンの盟友達と「idola」「bond」等新たなるプロジェクトを本格的にスタート。彼女の持ち味は力強く持続性のあるグルーヴとストーリーを感じさせる展開力とレイヤーテクニックであり、テクノ・ ミュージックの醍醐味であるトリッピーな没入感を最大限に引き出すプレイスタイルはシーンから熱い支持を得ている。

Loe was born in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, the grandniece of avant-garde artist Yayoi Kusama.She started her career as a techno DJ in the Kansai region in 2005, and after appearing at DOMMUNE during REEKO(Polegroup/mentaldisorder)’s first solo gig in Osaka, she expanded her activities to the whole of Japan. Since 2017, she has been involved in TAKAAKI ITOH’s eponymous techno party ‘WOLS’ as resident DJ, before launching new projects such as ‘idola’ and ‘bond’ in earnest with her friends in the scene.
Her strong, sustained grooves, storytelling development and layering techniques are her specialities, and her play style, which maximises the trippy immersive feeling that is the real appeal of techno music, has gained enthusiastic support from the scene.
