宮地祥平（1989年静岡生）はコミュニケーション、アイデンティティ 、パフォーマンスのテーマを中心に制作を続ける写真家である。School of Visual Artsより写真学の美術学士号とPratt Instituteより写真学の美術修士号を取得。最近においては、『Rakuen』シリーズの出版を記念してニューヨークのMATTE HQで展示し、現在はアムステルダムのコブラ近代美術館で「Clandestine – The Human Body in Focus」にて展示中である。東京在住、写真を教授している。

Shohei Miyachi (b. 1989, Shizuoka, Japan) is a photographer whose work explores ideas of communication, identity, and performance. He holds a BFA in photography from the School of Visual Arts and an MFA in photography from Pratt Institute. He has recently exhibited in a show at MATTE HQ, New York, marking the launch of a publication dedicated to his Rakuen series, and is currently showing at the Cobra Museum of Modern Art, Amsterdam, in the exhibition “Clandestine – The Human Body in Focus”. Miyachi currently resides in Tokyo and teaches photography.
